SS22 has landed at Dora Larsen and we’re excited to share our new pieces for the season ahead.
As with each collection, designing and manufacturing lingerie and sleepwear in the most responsible way is our biggest objective. For SS22 we are pleased to introduce Thea and more recently, Mollie. Both crafted in organic cotton, they are soft and breathable on your skin. Using up to 71% less water than conventional cotton, organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful herbicides and pesticides, making it our most responsibly created collection to date. We’re also pleased to say that the elastics, thread, metal hardware and boning is produced using recycled materials, too. Our fabrics are all OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are dyed without dangerous chemicals that are toxic to the planet.
To celebrate the launch of Mollie this month, we’re donating £10 from every order containing our organic cotton collection to the Organic Cotton Accelerator, as part of our membership with 1% for the Planet. As a consumer led brand, we know we’ll never be truly sustainable, so as well as using better materials and ethical practices throughout our supply chain, we are committed to supporting organisations who actively help the planet.
Who are the Organic Cotton Accelerator?
The Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) have one core goal - for every farmer to switch to organic cotton to achieve a positive ripple effect where farmers earn more, their families and communities flourish, and their land and soils are fertile for future generations. A global platform, fully dedicated to organic cotton and the farmers themselves, they work to supply security and measurable social and environmental impact. The OCA Platform brings together those who grow, supply and buy organic cotton to create the conditions for this fibre to thrive now and in the future.
