AT HOME WITH HANNAH LOUISE
We chatted with @hannahlouisef to see how she’s been getting on with life indoors...
So, how are you feeling?
“BORED! but fortunate and thankful for my health too.”
What have you been doing day-to-day, and how has this changed in comparison to your usual routine?
“I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing, mostly. my working day has changed quite dramatically as there is simply much less to do, but I’ve had to find more creative ways to shoot content at home which has been a nice challenge. Ordinarily I’m a very social person and spend most evenings at gigs or at the pub, so being in constantly has taken a lot of getting used to. I miss the pub!”
What have you learnt about yourself since the virus started?
“I’m actually worryingly good at doing nothing all day.”
What have you learnt about society and the people you know, since the virus started?
“I’m proud of the people I know for being sensible and staying in, and also for the fundraising efforts that so many of them have undertaken. If I’ve learnt anything, or had anything reinforced, about society it is that it is built on so-called ‘low skilled’ workers, and they deserve to be treated so much better by the government.”
How do you see the future, once this is all over? Do you want to go back to normal, or do you envisage change within your own life?
“I’m very eager for things to go back to normal but am struggling to envisage that at the moment. I think my introduction back to normalcy will be a gradual one as my work as an influencer will take time to return to normal, and the things I do socially will also be the last to restart. I hope I’ll be able to resume life but at a slightly slower pace than pre-lockdown.”
